Wade Upholstery is a design led company with a heritage dating back over 85 years. Throughout the this time our reputation for quality and craftsmanship has been paramount.
To ensure that the furniture product meets the highest of standards extensive tests are carried out at all stages of development.
Once part of the manufacturing process, each model is upholstered from start to finish by skilled craftsman, many of whom have been employed as school leavers and have undergone a four year training programme.
The FRAME represents the foundation for every piece of furniture and is made in the company's own mill using hardwoods from renewable forest and cut with the closest attention to detail, before being secured with dowels, glue and screws. It is also manufactured, where possible, using traditional coil mesh units.
FABRICS, whether printed, woven or hide are all cut by hand. To ensure maximum style and comfort both fibre and foam are used for the backs and seat cushions in order to offer the support needed.
To further endorse their commitment to both quality and care, each piece of furniture is upholstered and finished by hand, a classic example of a disappearing art left fully intact by a company commited to only the finest standards of skill, artistry and craftsmanship. |
