Dovetail have on display over 50 styles of Cane & Rattan Furniture, available in a wide range of fabrics. Most suites have a lovely range of occasional furniture to complement, creating a wonderful overall ambience.
The Cane & Rattan Range offers a strong alternative to bamboo - being a solid timber rather than hollow. And each suite is individual, identifiable due to the colouring process of the wood. A functional, enjoyable work of art.
Within the new ranges the use of Wicker and Wood are proving very popular offering a completely new look to traditional cane furniture.
Rattan grows like ivy and produces a good solid timber, unlike bamboo which is hollow. Rattan also regenerates itself over a ten year cycle. As every plant is individual and unique this means that only rarely will there be an exact match between pieces of furniture. These slight variations in cane colour and detail are normal they are not flaws but the beauty of nature's individuality.
Most of the suites have webbed or serpentine sprung seats for extra comfort and many are also leather bound for extra durability and flexibility. A selection of cane colours are also available on the majority of suites displayed. |
